Rachel Rizner & The Resonators began in 2007, with Rachel Rizner and the great Vince White performing as an acoustic duo.  After their first set at The Knitting Factory received a rave reception, they explored expanding their band and their sound.  Today, the Resonators love to play a full night of blues, classic rock, classic and alternative country, soul, and original songs in all genres.  The dance floor is always filled when the Resonators get rolling!

Rachel Rizner grew up in a tiny town on the East Coast and studied theatre at Emerson College.  Her formative years were spent listening to Hendrix, Janis, Bob Dylan, and The Rolling Stones; while her mom's influence (and control of the car radio!) gave her a background in the lyricism and harmonies of classic groups like Eagles, Hall & Oates, and Peter, Paul & Mary.  Her musical influences include everything from Sam Cooke and Etta James, Led Zepplin to Susan Tedeschi, Linda Ronstadt to Lucinda Williams, and Patsy Cline to Lou Ann Barton.  She writes original music that ranges from blues to alt-country to future-classic rock (with instrumentation by Vince White and Adam Huntley).  Her performance background makes every show seem intimate and individualized, regardless of the size of the room or crowd, and she loves to bring the audience along on a storytelling journey.

Vince White, lead guitarist and band leader, is originally from the Bay Area.  He has been performing as a session musician and in SoCal blues acts since 2006.  In addition to writing original music for The Resonators, he performs as "Mr. Soul," a Neil Young tribute act; and he works with LA musicians Sayed Sabrina and Kasey Lansdale (among many others).  Vince also leads the Flying V's, with Vincent Fossett, Jr., and Vince Tividad, as the house band for the blues jam at Therapy at The Roar Room on Wednesday nights. For those interested in learning to do what he does, Vince teaches guitar, harmonica, and bass.  Contact the band for more info!

Adam Huntley joined the band as a rhythm and lead guitarist in 2015.  Adam spent his youth in Southern California, listening to Van Halen and Stevie Ray and Jimmie Vaughan.  With skills that can attack surf rock, crowd favorites, and slow blues with equal skill; he keeps the show moving.
